CHOP – After The Injury

CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia)
The ODM Group developed a high engagement consumer portal for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The patient education site received a 2008 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in website development. The Web Marketing Association award recognizes work above and beyond the standard of excellence. The ODM Group designed the site “After the Injury: Helping Parents Help Their Kids Recover”. The content was derived from research, best practice and clinical experience with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from the Center for Injury Research and Prevention. With the help from parents, who stressed the importance of interactivity and personalization in usability studies, The ODM Group created interactive tools available on the site that parents can personalize to address specific needs of their child and their own concerns.
