Story 1: Facebook to reach one billion users by the end of 2011. The steady growth in the 18-44 year old demographic continues to make Facebook an extremely desirable and effective marketing tool.

Story 2: YouTube has announced the launch of its live streaming portal – YouTube Live. Steve Chen, co-founder of YouTube, explains that live streaming was “coming to the site imminently.” YouTube Live is better suited for today’s users because of expanded bandwidth and improved consumer equipment.

Story3: Google’s acquisition of ITA Software for $700 million has been approved by the Justice Department. The concerns of companies, such as Kyak, Expedia and Orbitz, appear to be satisfied in the terms of agreement, as required by the Federal Government.
