Drexel University, Vision 2020: Equality In Sight

With barely a week’s lead time and operating under multiple constraints, The ODM Group was able to create and execute a social media strategy that successfully engaged attendees and promoted the event, “Vision 2020: An American Conversation about Women and Leadership” that was held in October 2010 at Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center. The purpose of the Vision 2020 conference was to bring together thought leaders from around the country to share ideas about the challenges faced by American women in today’s society. Social Media was used during the conference to provide an online channel through which attendees could communicate, coordinate and share their stories and information about the conference with women nationwide. More significantly, ODM’s efforts also stimulated many side conversations in the community in the form of blog posts, tweets and other status updates about the 19th Amendment and other related topics that continue to this day.
