Social media outlets flooded with talk of 5.9 quake that rattled east coast

And in breaking news, the east coast just experiences an earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was in Mineral, Virginia, and was felt by residents from North Carolina to Boston.

While there are no reports of damage yet, cell service and data networks certainly are being affected.
