Facebook is updating its Brand Pages to let their administrators schedule the releases of their posts. Before, this task was performed by third party apps like HootSuite. The update has separated page admins into separate roles –manager, content creator, moderator, advertiser, and insights analyst – and allows each of these a certain degree of control.

This new update shows the thoroughness with which brands approach their social media campaigns. Their budgets for the platforms have grown, and so has their need to perform regular business functions within the platform. Facebook recognizes this, and has updated to fit these needs.
